Shaving balls is probably one of the toughest challenges a man has to face in his entire life - even more daring than diving into a cave or climbing Mount Everest.
Studies suggest that around 23% of the male groomers have experienced accidental cuts while downstairs grooming - 67% of those cuts were on the scrotum!
In my lifetime, I’ve spent countless hours applying antiseptic to my hanging parts and pressing cotton to stop the bloodspill - even with some pricey electric trimmers!
From that point onward, I vowed not to stop until I found the best ball trimmers for maximum safety and comfort - my findings inform this article today!
Best Electric Trimmer for Balls: 7 Smooth Operators
I should individually discuss each of the 7 ball trimmers so that you can learn some detail about these tools until you reach the comparative analysis section!
- Manscaped Lawn Mower 5.0 Ultra - Overall the Best
- Meridian Trimmer Original - Great for Ergonomics
- Manscaped Lawn Mower 3.0 - Better for Portability
- Norelco Multigroom 9000 - Versatile Trimming
- Olov Trimmer - Affordable Grooming Kit
- Manspot Trimmer - Best Budget Choice
- Norelco Bodygroom 7000 - Good for All Types of Manscaping
Manscaped Lawn Mower 5.0 Ultra
As you could guess, the device that undoubtedly tops my list of the best ball trimmers this year is the premium Manscaped Lawn Mower 5.0 Ultra!

This trimmer is a significant upgrade from its predecessor the Lawn Mower 4.0 in countless ways and after checking it out, you too will agree with my opinion!
Highlight Features
- SkinSafe titanium-ceramic blades with rounded tips for safe trimming
- Additional foil shaver head included for up close results
- 60 minute battery life, IPX7 waterproof rated, includes travel lock
- 3-bar LED battery status, duotone guide light
There are tons of features I like about the Lawn Mower 5 and very few that I believe could improve - that’s how great it is!
I’ve come across a handful of reviewers mentioning LM5 is not worth it or it underperforms - I don’t know how their experiences have been but mine was actually very comforting!
Yes, I think so too that the SkinSafe technology mentioned by Manscaped is more of a marketing approach but that doesn’t make it a lie that LM5 is safer than most other ball trimmers in the industry.

These titanium-ceramic blades are not zero-overlapped, the edges are rounded off and overall has posed no risk of cuts while shaving my man jewels.
It’s actually unbelievable that no nicks or tugs during such grooming is possible with an electronic device - Lawn Mower 5 has made it possible!
The closeness doesn’t replicate one of a manual razor, but that’s a compromise I’m willing to make to keep my future generations protected.

For the motor unit, I think it’s somewhere around 6,000 RPM. The vibration is tolerable and the noise levels are minimal, also I didn’t notice any heating issues.
It’s a little larger than the previous Lawn Mowers but that’s not reflected on the weight as much. The unique shape of the handle along with 60% rubberized or matte coverage does offer good grip at all times.
Also, LM5 is a killer inside shower - protected by the IPX7 rating and does a great job at cleaning out your balls. But in my opinion, it requires less passes in dry conditions.

Those who want something not only for ball trimming, but also for pubic area trimming or body grooming, LM5 offers you a separate foil head for such purposes.
This head is designed somewhat like a Norelco Bodygroom 5000 and the closeness seems identical. Although, I wouldn’t recommend this foil head for your ball trimming duties.
You’ll receive 3 additional guide combs, 2 of which can be adjusted at three individual length settings, totalling up to 7 variable lengths.

As per the handle, there’s a 3-bar LED light for battery status. With a 700 mAh battery, the LM5 gives you an hour of usable time.
If you’re shaving in the dark or want a clear insight of the untrimmed hair as you pass, the LED guide light comes in handy.
The LM5 can turn the light on or off, even change the tone between warm to cool using the button adjacent to the power button - the same button is used to engage the travel lock.
Lawn Mower 5 is an ideal travel companion in many ways. Other than the travel lock, charging is made easy like before using the USB Type-C port.

Furthermore, the solid carry pouch it comes with houses everything about the device - from alternate heads to the guide comb attachments.
I mean, it’s not the cheapest device out there but the comfort and convenience I experienced while shaving my balls, I don’t think any amount of money can buy that!
Things I Like
- More efficient for ball trimming without causing cuts
- Offers greater comfort than other existing tools
- Sleek, ergonomic & contains advanced features
Areas for Improvement
- Expensive
Meridian Trimmer Original
Out of the Meridian trimmer trilogy, I think the Meridian Trimmer Original is one basic yet good enough tool for your regular ball shaving needs!

This tool is probably one of the most ergonomic devices I’ve used across the trimmer scene and the lighter weight definitely helps out in longer grooming operations.
Highlight Features
- Ergonomically superior with matte finish, never slips
- Ceramic blades are safe for testicle skin
- Motor power is sufficient and quiet
- Basic functionalities make it easy to use
Yes, the Meridian Trimmer Original is actually a very basic ball trimmer without any fancy feature or accessories to confuse the groomers.
It has a matte texture that prevents any sort of slipping during your operations and from what I’ve seen, it remains in firm control at diverse angles.
Also, the 4.2 ounces of weight is around the industry standard - ball shavers in general don’t weigh more than these unless we’re talking about the more premium tools.

This Trimmer Original comes with a set of ceramic blades - not zero-overlapped but goes very close to your skin to offer that stubble-free result.
However, I’ve been reluctant to go in raw with this blade set as it still felt slightly sharp on my manhood, thus the guide combs came in rescue.
You’re getting two adjustable guards - each with two length settings. These guards aren’t the most comfortable things to experience, but at least they’re able to protect your skin from cuts.

In terms of build quality, both the blade and housing feel solid. Mine has been going on for over 2 years and I’m yet to face any issue.
The Trimmer Original is waterproof, but there’s no certification for that. As I ran my tests, I was able to trim in the wet mode and rinse it thoroughly with no hint of leakage.
It has a battery life of around 80-90 minutes. There are three LED lights that serve as level indicators and these have been pretty accurate.

Meridian Trimmer Original is a tool not only for your testicular region grooming, but can also serve as a diverse trimming tool that includes back or butt shaving.
Also, this tool caters to both the genders - women can try it out for their bikini trims and the results are cutlass and pretty decent.
So, with a basic device that offers superior comfort and confidence, the price point is alluring in many ways.

One downside I’m going to mention here is regarding the housing material. Yes, it provides good grip but the texture is prone to fingerprints - if you have OCD like I do, you’ll keep on wiping it clean longer than the usage duration.
Meridian has been in the body grooming industry for around a decade and the Trimmer Original is definitely one of their top guns when it comes to customer satisfaction!
Things I Like
- Ceramic blades make ball trimming safer, even more so with guards on
- Quiet yet powerful motor
- Highly ergonomic and can be used inside shower
Areas for Improvement
- Housing texture is vulnerable to fingerprints
Manscaped Lawn Mower 3.0
If you want a more portable and affordable variant of the Lawn Mower 5.0 Ultra but experience similar comfort on your man parts, Manscaped Lawn Mower 3.0 should fill in the void.
It’s a very lightweight and compact device, feels great to hold on to and maneuvers like a charm with instantaneous response.
Highlight Features
- Rounded SkinSafe ceramic blades that rarely cause pain
- Ergonomic and highly portable handle
- IPX7 waterproof rated with LED guide light
- 60 minute battery life & charging dock
Let’s begin with the blade unit in this tool. There’s a sufficient gap between the teeth that keeps your wrinkly skin safe, and the limited width offers precision in grooming.
One downside to the narrow blade is that it’ll reduce the trimming efficiency of body grooming, however, I prefer this width for my ball shaving duties as it reduces the chances of nicks.

For a safer approach, you’re eligible to attach the guide comb provided inside the package. It doesn’t poke if you take the sweet time, but faster, careless glides can poke your manhood.
The motor unit is a very generic one, nothing exceptional. But if you’re not a gorilla down there, it doesn’t compromise the efficiency.
On the other hand, such reduced torque is actually safer for your skin, especially between your legs. The less aggressive cutting animations make the glides safer in contrast.

With only 4.1 ounces of weight, you won’t feel any fatigue even if your grooming takes over 10 minutes (this is my standard time as I don’t like to rush this process).
Furthermore, the tiny handle and such a light weight makes it a portable travel companion - only downside is its lack of travel lock.
As per the handle design goes, it’s made with plastic and textures expand all over its chest. This design keeps the grip to the top level in both wet and dry conditions.

The Lawn Mower 3.0 is protected by an IPX7 waterproof rating. I tested it inside the shower and rinsed with the blade off - both of the times its inner electronic components remained safe.
You can expect a battery life of 60 minutes and there’s the 3-bar LED indicator for battery life status. A charging dock can become your permanent stashing solution and it’ll keep the device recharged at all times.

Last but not the least, the LED guide light showed me the hair growth on my testis while trimming, and it felt more powerful than the light on Lawn Mower 4.0.
So for what it’s worth, the Lawn Mower 3.0 gives you some unique properties that are only available in this Manscaped tool and offers ball comfort to a diverse array of consumers!
Things I Like
- Narrow and safe blades render convenient ball trimming procedures
- Low-torque motor is ideal for the cause
- Ergonomic and portable - thus longer grooming sessions aren’t tiring
Areas for Improvement
- Not efficient for body grooming
Philips Norelco Multigroom 9000, MG9510/60
If you need a groomer for versatile trimming from the head to toe, Philips Norelco Multigroom 9000 is broadly considered as the finest of them all.
There’s a hack to turn this trimmer into a sophisticated ball trimmer and it has to do with all the additional attachment you’ll receive inside the package.
Highlight Features
- Includes separate heads of beard, hair, body, nose, detailer and foil
- Stainless steel textured housing with IPX7 waterproof rating
- Everything can be stored inside the robust pouch
- 5 hours of battery life render it an ideal travel package
While the trimmer blade is not zero-gapped to give you that safety net, it’s still not safe for ball trimming without any guard as it’s designed for grooming longer beards.
However, with the body guards you’ll receive with the trimmer, cleaning out your balls becomes a much safer operation.
But this isn’t the reason why I’m recommending the Multigroom 9000. As part of the deal, you’ll receive a body blade head to swap out with the trimmer blade in an instant.

This particular body blade is flat and it trims in both directions. The way Norelco has designed it makes it completely safe for your ball grooming activities!
I prefer doing it inside the shower as the stainless steel housing is covered by an IPX7 waterproof rating, therefore leak-proof in any possible way.
Stretching the ball skin out is very important in this case so that the flat blade can align perfectly with the skin and don’t bump into wrinkles.

As the motor power is sufficient yet not aggressive, it generates a comforting grooming experience without the threat of cuts or tugs.
Those who are more adventurous can then swap the body blade head with the foil head. Since it’s not covered with a hypoallergenic alloy, the experience may vary from person to person.
But with such a narrow foil head of 17 mm, you’ll be able to clean out the specific tighter regions with more ease and control.

In case you’re wondering, the body blade width is 34 mm - sufficient enough for a faster grooming operation - regardless of your testicle hair coarseness and texture.
The 7.6 ounces stainless steel handle is covered with texture spots and a rubberized thumb rest area for refined grip.
Multigroom 9000 gives you an astounding 5 hour battery life - the maximum in a Norelco trimmer so far.

You’ll get a total of 22 accessories with the specific version I’ve mentioned and all of these can be stored inside a robust storage pouch for easy portability.
I tend to choose the Multigroom 9000 for traveling purposes as there’s everything you need for versatile grooming and I believe Philips has simply nailed its price point!
Things I Like
- Body blade gives a clean and comfortable ball trimming experience
- Compact and grippy handle ensures greater precision
- Different blade heads help you groom just the way you want
Areas for Improvement
- Trimmer blade is not made with ceramic & requires guide comb for safety
Olov Trimmer
A ball trimming kit that caters to somewhat versatile grooming needs - sounds familiar? No, it’s not something expensive like those Multigroom toys.
Rather, it’s a budget-end tool from a brand named Olov. The Olov trimmer has been trending in the affordable market for quite a few years now and let’s find out the reasons why!
Highlight Features
- Offers a ball & pube trimmer along with nose trimmer head & charging dock
- Lightweight, portable and good-looking
- Ceramic blades that pair well with a generic motor
- Waterproof with decent battery life
Despite the ceramic build on the Olov blade, I don’t think it’s been able to live up to the level of Manscaped or Meridian.
Yes, it’s still better than stainless steel but the material isn’t the only way to minimize the threat of accidental cuts.

The way Olov blade teeth are aligned do pose a threat to your ball skin and going in directly for a trim should require precaution on your end.
I believe the safest way to proceed would be to attach a guide comb out of the two that are available inside the package.
These guards do however feel comfortable on your ball skin and that’s one of the main reasons for me to include the Olov trimmer as one of the best ball shavers.

Another positive thing about this device is its housing design - the black and gold combo hits just perfectly for those with a taste for captivating grooming items.
Additionally, it’s a very miniscule tool, sizing up just as much as the Lawn Mower 3.0 and weighs similarly as well - 4.3 ounces only.
As per the ergonomics go, Olov has crafted its handle with a matte finish. It’s not as premium as Meridian and the issue of leaving fingerprints persists.

Inside the handle, an average-powered motor unit oscillates the blade and keeps things running - sufficient for ball trimming but not so much for leg or arm hair shaving, especially if the hair is coarse.
Olov claims this trimmer to be fully waterproof. While my tests suggest that it’s true, I’d still recommend dry shaving and cleaning methods for added safety.
The nose hair trimmer extends the courtesy of keeping you clean and does a fairly great job at your nasal canal.

For the battery life, Olov offers around 40 minutes runtime. Not great, but works through the week without recharging.
Those who wish to use it for both ball and pubic hair trimming, the charging stand will come in handy. You may keep it docked to keep it trim-ready!
No LED battery level indicator exists on this tool - just one red light that tells you if the device is being properly charged.

There are finicky aspects to this trimmer - from the blade head removal to the overall gripping sensation, I cannot explain so in words.
But on the bright side, the trimmer hasn’t yet given up on me despite frequent use, so I guess it’s going to give you some value out of your money should you use it with care.
Things I Like
- Affordable price
- Tactile and ergonomic housing
- Versatile in terms of ball, pube and nose trimming
Areas for Improvement
- Build quality is average at best
- Matte housing is prone to fingerprints or marks
- Safer with guide comb for ball shaving
Manspot Trimmer
The Manspot trimmer is the absolute budget-killer when it comes to ball trimming and you could call it the budget variant of the Meridian Trimmer Original.

From the size, shape and housing design, the Manspot trimmer seems remarkable and when you consider the price range, it feels too good to be true!
Highlight Features
- Anti-cut ceramic blades with sufficient width
- Powerful motor torquing at 6,000 RPM
- 3 guide combs to create gap between blade and skin
- Waterproof, 60 minute battery life and 3-bar LED indicator
Taking a look at these features at a glance, you can comprehend how much the Manspot trimmer has to offer for its cost.
But the major question remains - how does it treat your eggshells when it comes to a complete removal?
There are both ups and downs of using the Manspot trimmer as I’ve learned. For the positive parts, the ceramic blade does give you enhanced protection for the wrinkly bits.

But it comes with an additional responsibility - you HAVE to stretch that skin out while gliding, otherwise you may experience some tugs or pulls.
I tried to be a little aggressive with my ball trimming and fortunately, I was left unscarred (although the burning sensation remained afterward).
In my opinion, this probably has to do with the 6,000 RPM motor unit - it’s a bit much considering you’ll be going up close against your balls.

Therefore, stretching the skin, going slow and in some cases, attaching the shortest (1 mm) guard proved to be the perfect combination of grooming.
Such a blade and motor power actually help you out with body or leg shaving. Even bum shaving feels comfortable and the leftover hair growth is somewhere around 0.3 mm without the guard.
Apart from this guard, you’ll also be given a 3 mm and two more adjustable guards that cut at longer lengths.

While the somewhat bulky housing looks and feels similar to Meridian, there’s an additional texture patch up front where you could place your thumb.
Wet grooming hasn’t been pleasant around my balls as Manspot lacks the ability to pick up damp and flat lying hair.
However, the waterproof quality does stand out without any rating - I could use Manspot inside the shower and then rinse it after for an easy cleaning.
The battery life is around 60-70 minutes with a 3-bar LED indicator mentioning the leftover battery duration.

What I like about this tool is that it’s very cheap, lightweight (4.2 ounces), ergonomic and of course, the blade and motor combo gives you swift ball shaves.
The downsides are basically the aggressive nature of the cutters along with the housing being susceptible to fingerprints and demanding frequent wipes.
I still think it’s a great choice if you don’t mind some stubble left on your balls (something like a 3-day growth) if you wish to tie comfort and budget together!
Things I Like
- Can trim the balls faster than a lot of premium trimmers
- Powerful tool for dry ball shaving
- Ergonomically sound and offers precise control to the groomers
Areas for Improvement
- Motor is too powerful for delicate parts
- Prone to fingerprint on matte housing Philips
Norelco Bodygroom 7000, BG7030/49
Now, the final product in my list of best ball trimmers is something a little unorthodox but works like a charm - the Norelco Bodygroom 7000 from Philips!
The reason behind calling it unorthodox is its design - one end with a foil head while the other is an old-school trimmer - giving you the flexibility of two devices at the cost of one!
Highlight Features
- Hypoallergenic foil doesn’t arouse allergic reaction
- Integrated stainless steel trimmer has a built-in adjustable guard
- Robust handle with ergonomic points for better grip
- Each cutting head are powered by individual motor units
There are many things about the Bodygroom 7000 that I like and some I believe could be better, especially when it comes to your sensitive man bits grooming.
Let me get this off my chest - Norelco Bodygroom 7000 is a killer tool for manscaping, butt shaving, pube trimming but it has some limitations at your hanging parts.
The stainless steel blade is very sharp and the tips are not rounded off, therefore posing a threat to your balls upon direct concat.

That’s why it’s highly essential to keep the guard on - you may set it to the shortest length but keeping it on should be mandated.
Also, stretch out your skin as much as you can while gliding. Because if your wrinkly portions accidentally get fed through the combs, there’s bound to be some cuts.
The motor unit on the trimmer end is more powerful and is able to give you a stubble-length trim using the guard.

Moving on from that, you should drench the testicles and apply the foil head directly to generate a baby-bum like finish.
As the Bodygroom 7000 is 100% waterproof, doing it inside the shower will not only soften the hair down there, but also take care of your cleaning.
The ergonomic points on the handle do come in handy in wet conditions - giving you full and firm grip through its shape and textured rubberized spots.

With the lower torque on the foil end, 4 directional pivot for contour adaptation and some stretching of your skin, the results have felt surprisingly close and comforting!
Yes, the handle is quite long and maneuvering it between your legs can pose challenges at times. But with a weight of 7.1 ounces, I think it’s less weightier than I had anticipated.
Bodygroom 7000 offers a battery life of around 80 minutes and you’ll get a charging indicator light that warns you about low battery as well.

Those who want a device that offers multipurpose use - all related to your body grooming - Bodygroom 7000 definitely stands out from the lot.
Absent is the necessity to swap out different heads as you can simply rotate the tool to access alternate trimming or shaving options.
The price point justifies its performance and with some delicate maneuvering, you may receive unscratched yet smooth balls with this tool.
Things I Like
- Easy to swap the cutters on the fly
- More convenient to use inside the shower
- Easy to clean and maintain
Areas for Improvement
- Trimming without the guard can cause cuts
Why Trust My Opinion?
As a fellow man, I feel exactly the way you feel about ball shaving - scary and painful - something that I didn’t look forward to in the past.
But over time as I got introduced to the seven ball trimmers in my list, I realized that these actually worked in favor of comfort in unimaginable ways.
I ran tests on myself (yes, sometimes these tests did threaten my future generations) and noted down the findings.
Also, upon collecting first-hand feedback from other groomers who use electric shavers for ball grooming, I was able to complete my article with as much authenticity as possible!
My Tests & Findings: Best Ball Shaver
As I had mentioned earlier, the different tests and assessments I ran on these ball trimmers are what dictate this article, so let me share the comparative findings for your convenience!
Key Features: Blade Type, Skin Comfort & Safety, Blade Guard Library, Housing Design, Motor Power, Waterproof & Portability.
Type of Blade
As per blade type goes, I believe Manscaped Lawn Mower 5.0 Ultra has the best one from the lot. Its width, ceramic material and teeth gap are simply spot on.

Second in line would be a tie between Meridian Trimmer Original and Lawn Mower 3.0 - both showcasing ceramic blades of similar width and caliber.
Olov and Manspot offer similar quality blades, both are somewhat copycats of Meridian and Manscaped, but the quality is visible and can be felt while using.
Both of the Norelco products offer unorthodox blades - the Bodygroom 7000 giving you two blade types and the Multigroom 9000 allowing you to use their trimmer, body and foil heads!
Comfort & Safety on Skin
Which one is the safest blade from the lot? The safest one is by far the Lawn Mower 5.0 Ultra. I was even able to glide aggressively without shedding a drop of blood.

Meridian, Lawn Mower 3.0 and Manspot each are close in terms of skin safety, but when it comes to comfort - the first two have the edge on Manspot.
Multigroom 9000 body blade should cater to particular consumers with their ball trimming journey and relies on how well you stretch your skin out, same goes for the foil head of the Bodygroom 7000.
Olov is the least safe in this scenario and the only tool I’ll always recommend using with a guide comb attachment.
Guide Comb Flexibility
As per guide comb goes, this victory as well goes to the Lawn Mower 5.0 Ultra. Gliding on your manhood with its guard doesn’t poke the skin and the trims are even at all times.

Lawn Mower 3.0 and Multigroom 9000 body blade guards on the trimmer blade are almost equally comfortable. These two offer double guards - the former can be swapped for range alteration.
Manspot trimmer guard feels more convenient than Meridian and Olov - the latter two can poke your skin if you don’t stretch enough.
Finally, Bodygroom 7000 foil head doesn’t require a guard and the trimmer end built-in comb needs to be used carefully at precise angles.
Ergonomics
Ergonomic prowess is actually situational and it's preferential in many ways. If you like compact tools, Lawn Mower 3.0 and Olov trimmer are the tools to go for.

Those preferring something bulky, tactile and rubbery, Meridian Trimmer Original and Manspot will give you similar grip levels - better for wet grooming but prone to fingerprints.
Lawn Mower 5.0 Ultra somewhat stands in the middle of these two types - containing plastic handle but padded with matte finish at different segments.
For a more robust and metallic feel to your grooming, Multigroom 9000 and Bodygroom 7000 are slightly heavier tools with more precision, but you’ll be prone to fatigue faster than other trimmers!
Motor Power
I believe Lawn Mower 5.0 Ultra and Manspot have the most powerful motors inside but the former is more static and less aggressive than the latter.
Multigroom 9000 as well joins the party of sophisticated power and the AutoSense technology does come in handy considering the coarseness of your ball hair.
Bodygroom 7000 trimmer motor is very aggressive whereas the foil motor is toned down for safety.
LM3 and Meridian seem to hit a balanced spot between raw power and ideal blade oscillation, with Olov being the least powerful that struggles with coarse ball hair.
Shower-Friendliness
A lot of the ball shavers in my list are covered by an IPX7 rating. This category includes the Manscaped duo along with the Norelco Multigroom 9000 - all tested safe for every type of wet operation.

From those without the certification, Bodygroom 7000 is showerproof and avails the secondary safe category to let you use it inside the shower and wash thoroughly.
Meridian trimmer is also safe in this regard and can match the prowess of the Bodygroom. Manspot can be rinsed and used over damp ball hair, but shouldn’t be utilized while showering.
Lastly, Olov trimmer is splash-proof at best and I’d advise not to use it in wet conditions, neither should be washed to keep the electronic components protected.
Buyer’s Guide: Choosing the Best Ball Trimmer
All of these ball trimmers are top-tier devices for the ball grooming purpose but you must still select one that aids your cause perfectly - let me help you with that!
- The Best One: Manscaped Lawn Mower 5.0 Ultra is currently the best one for ball trimming - I even went fast without a guard and sensed no pain!
- For Sweaty Palms: Meridian Trimmer Original provides the firmest of grips possible - be that in dry condition or wet, so pick it if you prioritize a good grip.
- Tiny & Compact: Manscaped Lawn Mower 3.0 is the most compact and portable ball trimmer with a plethora of trimming ability.
- Versatile Toolkit: Multigroom 9000 is as versatile as it gets - from ball trimming to hair clipping - it’s your all in one toolkit that you may even carry in your travel days.
- Affordable Kit: Olov trimmer is an affordable device that offers a nose trimmer and a charging dock - no other tool will give you these accessories at such a price point.
- Best for Budget: Manspot trimmer is the undisputed budget winner because it gives way more performance out of the affordable amount you have to pay.
- For Body Groomers: Norelco Bodygroom 7000 is for those wanting their ball trimmer to be equally capable of body grooming without having to own a separate tool.
You need to understand the strong suit for each ball shaver as highlighted above and assess which of these come closest to your requirement!
FAQ
There is still some brief yet important information left to be discussed and consumers often ask these questions around - let’s find the answers!
Q: Can I use a regular beard trimmer for ball trimming?
Ans: No, you should not use a regular beard trimmer for ball trimming because most of the beard trimmers are equipped with a stainless steel blade. Some are zero-gapped and pose a great risk to your delicate skin.
On the other hand, ball trimmers are specifically designed with ceramic, rounded blades to add an extra layer of safety and protection to your man jewels.
Q: Should I trim in wet or dry?
Ans: I found the most efficient results in dry shaving conditions as the trimmer is able to pick up all the flat lying hair faster.
If the hair is damp, you’ll have to spend more time grinding the blades against your balls and it leaves you more vulnerable to cuts. However, wet trims do feel more comfortable, but I’d still stick with dry.
Q: How do I clean a ball trimmer?
Ans: Cleaning a ball trimmer is much different than your beard trimmer or hair clipper. Firstly, you should wash the device if it’s washable or fully waterproof, otherwise use a brush to remove stray hair.
Then, use a clean cloth rag and apply antiseptic liquid to remove any germ from the blades. This sanitization is essential since your balls are party-hosters to a wide array of germ and bacteria.
Final Verdict
So, what did we learn today about the best ball trimmers? One, they exist and are widely accepted by groomers across the globe.
Two, you need to be patient while shaving your balls, most of the accidents occur when you’re trying to speed things up and not being careful.
Third, it’s better to attach a guard for added safety than risking it by going in directly with the blade. Remember, your future generation is at stake here!
Finally, stretching is the best possible advice I’ve ever taken. Stretch the skin out and your risk of cuts will drastically reduce by more than 50% in an instant!
